Making Transparency Concrete in Public Sector Leadership

Transparency has become an often over-used mantra in the workplace, and the public sector, in particular, has faced an increased demand for transparent thinking and actions.  In this session Chris will explore the use of social media to foster transparency in his role as Superintendent of Schools for the West Vancouver School District. In addition to sharing strategies that promote transparency, Chris will look at the challenges of balancing a personal presence in the digital world with the responsibilities of a corporate presence.  Chris focuses on finding ways to live his professional life in a public way to engage the community.
