Not everyone is a photographic genius. So to fill our blogs with great pictures we grab most of our pictures online and use them in our blog posts. Sounds simple and safe enough, right?
Unfortunately, most bloggers are committing Intellectual Property crimes everyday without knowing it.
My talk will focus on how to safely and legally source and use images from on line vendors and sites and how to ask permission from image owners.
I also think it is important to teach everyone how to protect their intellectual property, so I will also be discussing ways to protect bloggers content and how to respond to those that have taken it.
